Army ROTC teaches military skills, leadership, and career advancement during the training session. In ROTC Program the classes take place in both classroom and in the field. The course is mixed with normal academic studies.

Army ROTC Scholarship Application 2018

The high school rotc scholarship application process consists of steps like –

  1. Submit the online application form from June 1, 2017, till December 1, 2017.
  2. After you complete the online application, you will receive a confirmation email with information. With the online application you need to upload by January 12, 2018
  • Download, print and submit the form to your counselor for review/approval and request a copy of your transcript. Scan and upload signed counselor certification form and signed transcript.
  1. Extracurricular Activity Sheet –
  • Complete and submit the form online after completing the scholarship application
  1. Physical Fitness Test
  • Print the copy of the work sheet. Have the examiner fill in all of the information on the form and make sure he/she signs and dates the form.
  • After you complete the worksheet enter your results electronically in the fields provided.
  1. SAT and/or ACT scores and GPA must be submitted by January 12, 2018.
  • To be eligible for scholarship consideration, you must achieve an SAT composite of 1240 or ACT composite of 26. Applicant must also attain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. There are no waivers or exceptions to the SAT/ACT or GPA requirements.

Army ROTC Scholarship Requirements 2018

4 Year Scholarships for High School Students –  

The high school Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. Contact your high school academic advisor or Campus Military Science department for more information. To qualify, you must:

  1. Be a U.S. citizen
  2. Be between the ages of 17 and 26
  3. Have a high school CGPA of at least 2.50
  4. Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  5. Score minimum of 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
  6. Adhere to all physical standards
  7. Serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard) and Agree to accept a commission

4 Year ROTC Scholarships for College Freshmen –

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 26
  • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Score minimum of 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
  • Adhere  to all physical standards
  • Serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard) and Agree to accept a commission

3 Year ROTC Scholarship

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be between ages 17 and 27
  • Score in College a GPA of at least 2.5
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Score minimum 19 on the ACT or 920 on the SAT
  • Adhere  to all physical standards
  • Serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard) and Agree to accept a commission

2 Year ROTC Year Scholarship

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be between ages 17 and 27
  • Score in College a GPA of at least 2.5
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Adhere  to all physical standards
  • Serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard) and Agree to accept a commission
